Wendy Dek Joins The Prestigious Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who
Wendy Dek has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career.
HURST, TX, June 5, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Wendy Dek has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career. As Owner and Operator Canine Advanced Training Services, as well as throughout her incredible 34 years in the business, Wendy has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Canine Advanced Training Services is a business which offers the latest, scientifically proven methods of dog training instruction for pet owners and their dogs. All dogs and owners are treated as individuals and only positive motivational methods of training are applied. They help clients to understand how their actions and reactions affect the way their dog behaves and how it is the key to their dog training success.
Wendy is an Animal Behavior Specialist who began training horses at a very young age in her native Australia. In 1976, she began her career as a Veterinary Nurse. After earning her Dog Obedience Instructors Certificate, she started conducting Puppy Pre-schools and Basic Obedience classes which she has been doing since 1989. Wendy continues to update her training methods through continuing educational seminars and tutorials.
In addition to running the Canine Advanced Training Services business, Wendy also works as a Trainer with Paws with a Cause, a non-profit organization that trains service dogs nationally for people with a wide range of disabilities and special needs. She is the first trainer in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area to be certified and licensed by Victoria Stillwell of TV's Animal Planet show, It's Me or the Dog and she is a proud member of Victoria's Positively Dog Trainers.
