Jane Evans-Sellers Honored for Excellence in Elementary Language Arts Instruction
Ms. Evans-Sellers is determined to positively impact her students in the way that her fourth-grade teacher did
ROSWELL, NM, June 23, 2011 /Coaching - Mentoring PR News/ -- Jane Evans-Sellers, Teacher for Roswell Independent School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in elementary education instruction.
Inspired by her fourth-grade teacher, Ms. Evans-Sellers knew from a young age that she wanted to be an educator. "I am driven and determined," she says of her success throughout the last two years. Although she is relatively new to the Roswell Independent School District, she already excels in her primary responsibility of teaching all subject areas with a focus on language arts concepts to third- and fourth-grade students.
Ms. Evans-Sellers, who holds a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education, is certified to teach kindergarten through eighth grade. She has obtained licensure in the states of New Mexico and Texas. Additionally, she is a member of the Alpha Sigma Lambda and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies. With aspirations to complete a master's degree in counseling and obtain a counselor's license in Texas, she is looking forward to the future.
