Marion's primary focus over the last 15 years has been on consultation and extensive training of small businesses in business planning, business viability assessment, facilitation, incorporating coaching and mentoring services. Working with computers in providing these services, she developed a keen interest in web design and internet marketing, and saw an opportunity to combine her business skills and information with online marketing, to provide a well-rounded solution to many of the issues that small business face today.
In June of 2010, Marion launched the combined resources of business management, design services and the Internet with the registration of Smart Business Online, primarily to offer a cost effective solution to the spiraling costs of running a business. She felt that her expertise and that of her team helped her put together a service that would be beneficial to everyone just starting out in business, needed a website or was eager to source new ideas or put the spark back into their existing web sites
Marion is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations. She has been a small business consultant for 15 years and website designer for 5 years. Marion was a finalist for the Enterprising Woman of the Year Award in 2000. Her success stems from her extraordinary work ethic, commitment, perseverance, positive attitude, and her supportive family.
