Colin Banks is an accomplished auctioneer who uses a great deal of motivation in his public appearances for real estate, charity auctions and guest speaking appearances. He has developed a strong reputation for achieving outstanding results working with Independent and Franchise Agents. Mr. Banks provides coaching, motivating and training services to his clients. Last year alone, Colin auctioned over 450 properties onsite and has featured in the television program Auction Squad. He regularly donates his time to help out with charity auctions for local schools, clubs and groups including Women at Work, Breast Cancer Foundation, Leukemia Foundation, Gold Coast City Council, Flood Victims Appeal and Bond University.
Colin has over 29 years of experience in the real estate industry covering New South Wales and Queensland and is recognized in the industry as one of the leading auctioneers and trainers in these fields. He has developed an extensive working knowledge of the relevant real estate acts governing New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria. He has been an industry trainer for 23 years, involved in consulting to over 80 real estate offices and developers, providing them with assistance to help them thrive in their businesses. Colin has been contracted to the REIQ for the past 9 years as their Senior Trainer. He is a member of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland and the Queensland Business Association.
In 1996, Colin was awarded the "Australia Day" Citizen of the Year for outstanding contribution to the community in the regional town in New South Wales that he and his family were residing in at the time. He dedicated his time and expertise to the growth and development of this country town.
