As President of Lean Productivity Systems Inc., as well as throughout his incredible 23 years in the business, Mr. Hager has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Lean Productivity Systems Inc. is a consultation company which utilizes a production practice that considers the expenditure of resources for any goal other than the creation of value for the end customer to be wasteful, and thus a target for elimination. Lean manufacturing is a generic process management philosophy derived mostly from the Toyota Production System. Through practical application of Toyota Production System Methodology the process improvement is focused on the real needs of the business.
Mr. Hager is recognized as a Lean Sensei who gained his expertise through the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Company working under the guidance and expertise of world-renowned lean-master, Hajime Ohba. He served as Operations Management Consultant for Toyota's Supplier Support Centre where he directed implementation of lean production systems across a vast range of organizations and industries. Erik has developed numerous educational and training frameworks for organizations of various shapes and sizes.
During his collegiate career, Erik earned a Master's degree from the University of Victoria. He has had 2 videos published in the Harvard Business Review. Mr. Hager is one of only 4 Lean Sensei's in all of Canada.
