Remarkable Global Manager Joins The Stanford Who's Who Community
Stanford Who's Who welcomes Stan White to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his magnificent work in the Manufacturing Industry.
HAMILTON, ON, CANADA, January 11, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Stan White to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his magnificent work in the Manufacturing Industry. As Global Manager of Training and Development for ArcelorMittal Tubular Products, as well as throughout his incredible 45 years in the business, Mr. White has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
ArcelorMittal is the world's leading steel company, with operations in more than 60 countries. They are the leader in all major global steel markets, including automotive, construction, household appliances and packaging, with leading research and development and technology, as well as sizeable captive supplies of raw materials and outstanding distribution networks.
The company's tubular division manufactures 3 major lines, including welded tube for the automotive industry, and structural tube and seamless tube for the energy industry. Stan is responsible for learning and assuring implantation of the ongoing training and development of all departments at 26 company manufacturing facilities in 13 countries. He routinely travels throughout the US, Canada and South Africa. Mr. White takes great pride in having the right people at the right time with the right skills.
During his educational career, Stan earned a degree in Human Resources Development from McMaster University. He is the past President and Chairman of the Board for the Canadian Society for Training and Development. Stan spent 20 years teaching continuing education in the Department of Engineering at Mohawk College. Mr. White is a frequent guest speaker at the Ohio State University Work Force Center and CSTD Conferences. He is also a Ski Instructor and a member of the Harley Owners Group. Stan is actively involved in volunteer efforts for the United Way and has been the recipient of numerous awards from various organizations.
