Time to Sign Sports Names Debra Fields as National Academic Advisor and College Counselor

With Debra Fields as National Academic Advisor, Time to Sign Sports educates its clients on the benefits of being a "complete" student-athlete. The company provides the missing ingredient needed to succeed in the college recruiting maze.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL, February 25, 2011 /Coaching - Mentoring PR News/ -- Typically the first questions asked by many college baseball and softball recruiters centers around the recruit's grades and standardized test scores. "While one's athletic ability and skill as a ballplayer are critical, if their classroom and test performance falls below standards for a school, a recruit is eliminated from consideration almost before the process has even started," says Gary Cohn, a co-founder with Time to Sign Sports.

Pride in the classroom is often an indicator of one's performance on the field. With the naming of Debra Fields, Time to Sign Sports has sent a loud and clear message to high school baseball players and high school softball players. The college recruiting process is like a maze. As Debbie Fields notes, "One way to separate yourself in the recruiting process is to make your acceptance to the college a no-brainer." When a coach does not need to ask for favors or admittance exceptions, his ability to make an offer is greatly enhanced.

Time to Sign Sports believes that working with private trainers is an excellent way to improve your "marketability" and skill set (within a reasonable budget). With that said, Time to Sign Sports promotes the utilization of athletic trainers, hitting coaches, pitching instructors, and, equally as important, tutors and test prep courses. "Our experience in helping high school athletes achieve their dream of playing ball in college and earning college scholarships, tells us that grades matter - and it starts when you enter high school," says Berg Ohanian, one of the Principals of Time to Sign Sports. He continues, "Freshman year counts."

"Debra Fields' experience and warm approach is sure to help our clients. I know she will ultimately make Time to Sign Sports' job easier of advising high school athletes and help the athletes better position themselves for college scholarships," concludes Cohn.

Time to Sign Sports, Inc. focuses on assisting and advising high school baseball players and high school softball players achieve and earn college scholarships and roster spots to continue their dream of playing ball at the next level.
