TAMPA, FL, February 23, 2011 /Coaching - Mentoring PR News/ -- On Attention Talk Radio, sponsored by DIG Coaching Practice, host Jeff Copper will interview Dr. Ruth Hughes, acting director of Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD), an organization that provides education, advocacy, and support for those with ADHD. Dr. Hughes will discuss the organization and the benefits of membership, as well as resources available through CHADD, which can be found on the Web at www.chadd.org.
Dr. Hughes is a clinical psychologist by training and is a former member of CHADD's board of directors. In addition to her personal experience of raising a son with ADHD who is now a thriving adult, her professional background includes seventeen years as CEO of the International Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services (now USPRA), which represents providers of rehabilitation programs for adults and children with serious mental illnesses. She also has served as CEO of a state association for rehabilitation and a large psychiatric rehabilitation program affiliated with Johns Hopkins Hospital.
