Cindy Mallard seeks to further develop innovative transitional program at Wallace State Community College
HANCEVILLE, AL, May 13, 2010 /Coaching - Mentoring PR News/ -- Cindy Mallard, Director of the Transitional Learning Center at Wallace State Community College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.
With more than 16 years to back her claim to expertise in mathematics instruction, Cindy Mallard has led a successful career at Wallace State Community College. As Director of the Transitional Learning Center at Wallace State Community College, a position she has held for four years, she implements transitional learning programs and teaches English, mathematics and reading. Inspired by a desire to teach, Ms. Mallard now considers one of her driving motives to be the commitment to help others. In an exclusive Cambridge Who's Who interview, she noted that future plans will include becoming a dean and further developing her program at the Transitional Learning Center. Today, she considers her most noteworthy accomplishment to be playing an integral role in the innovative transitional program being implemented at Wallace State.
Ms. Mallard holds an MBA in accounting from Alabama A&M University, earned in 1994. She is a proud member of the Alabama Association for Developmental Education and the National Association for Developmental Education. For her professional excellence and efforts in the field of higher education, she has been awarded induction into Who's Who in Teachers and the Master Teacher Award.
