Dedicated Director Of Bible Camp Ascends To The Distinguished Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who
Mark Taylor has been accepted among the ranks of leading professionals with Stanford Who's Who due to his phenomenal work in the community.
MIDDLE MUSQUODOBOIT, NS, CANADA, March 18, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Mark Taylor has been accepted among the ranks of leading professionals with Stanford Who's Who due to his phenomenal work in the community. As Director of Mount Traber Bible Camp he has consistently performed at an outstanding level.
Mount Traber Bible Camp is a nonprofit, charitable organization owned by BCM International. It operates as a Bible camp and retreat center which offers a variety of activities and teachings for young people. Their mission is to provide and maintain an environment that will introduce, enrich and enhance each person's relationship with God. They are dedicated to developing Christian character and leadership skills in youth.
Among the wide array of activities available to campers is Bible education, horseback riding, rock climbing, archery and various other sporting activities. They have a Wilderness Camp, Adventure Camp and Sports Camp.
The overall purpose of the camp is to serve the community as an extension of the local church, providing an environment that meets the physical, mental, social and spiritual needs of all ages. Their programs are based on Christian principles with the strong desire for every person to find true fulfillment in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Mark Taylor works diligently at promoting the camp. He feels that he owes a lot of credit to the previous Directors of the camp, Bob and Ruth Boger, who held the position for 30 years. Mr. Taylor also credits his wife Debbie and children, Shanda, age 15 and Austin, age 12. They work alongside him at the camp every day. Debbie takes care of all of the adminstrative duties and management of the summer staff. Shandra works closely with the horses and Austin is wherever Mark is, helping with maintenance duties and mowing the lawn.
Mark regularly delivers sermons, spreading the words and teachings of Jesus Christ. Mark is a member of Bible Centered Ministries, the Halifax Regional Fire Department and Wittenburg Baptist Church. He enjoys hunting in the time away from his busy schedule.
