Accomplished Educator Is Enrolled In The Class Of Stanford Who's Who
T. Alan Russell has been recognized by Stanford Who's Who for his phenomenal work in the Education Industry.
PARIS, IL, February 6, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- T. Alan Russell has been recognized by Stanford Who's Who for his phenomenal work in the Education Industry. As Chairman of the Board of Liberty Fund Inc. and throughout his dedicated 29 years, Russell has routinely performed at an exceptional level.
Liberty Fund, Inc. is a private, educational foundation established to encourage the study of the ideal of a society of free and responsible individuals. The Foundation develops, supervises, and finances its own educational activities to foster thought and encourage discourse on enduring issues pertaining to liberty. The purposes of Liberty Fund are solely educational and intellectual, devoid of political agenda.
The activities of Liberty Fund are comprised of three areas of interest, which are books, conferences and educational resources. Each year the foundation publishes as many as 20 books and conducts up to 150 conferences. They also offer two online libraries and an interactive tour to encourage discussion of ideas pertaining to liberty. The aim of these programs is to focus on the place individual liberty has in an intellectual heritage evident from ancient times and continuing through the present day.
T. Allan Russell earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accountancy from the University of Missouri. He also attended the Wabash Institute for Personal Development at Wabash College, Crawfordsville, Indiana. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Social Science from the Universidad Francisco Marroquin.
Russell is affiliated with the American Institute of CPA's, Philadelphia Society, Mont Pelerin Society and the Financial Executives Institute, where he once served as President of the Indianapolis Chapter. He served for 20 years with The Hospital & Medical Foundation of Paris, Inc., where he retired as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in 2000. Russell is a ruling elder of the Presbyterian Church and is the past President of the Paris Rotary Club, Paris United Way, and Sycamore Hills Country Club.
T. Allan Russell is a family genealogist, woodworker and an avid fine art black and white photographer who has exhibited photographs in the surrounding area.
