With 42 years of professional experience, Mr. Miller attributes his success to the admiration of his uncle, who is a therapist. He is responsible for seeing patients who suffer from addictions, mainly alcohol and smoking. He speaks frequently to service groups including Kiwanis, Rotary, churches, jails, hospitals and other rehab facilities. In addition to earning a master's degree in clinical psychology, he holds a license in marriage, family, and child counseling. Mr. Miller is a member of the American Psychological Association, and received the Key to the City from the City of Long Beach.
