Extraordinary Educator Joins The Class Of Stanford Who's Who

Elizabeth A. Tice has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her exceptional effort in the Education Industry.

    ROCHESTER, NY, December 25, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Elizabeth A. Tice has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her exceptional effort in the Education Industry. As a Teacher at Scribner Road Elementary School, Elizabeth has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

The Scribner Road Elementary School is part of the Penfield Central School District. It is a K-5 elementary school with approximately 500 students in Penfield, New York. Their students are challenged to think critically, experiment, collaborate, and access information while integrating content areas with the arts and technology.

The students continue their learning through participation in a variety of teacher and Parent Teacher Association clubs and activities that include Chess Club, Intramurals, Student Council, Planet Science, and Buddy Up Club. Scribner Road Elementary School also institutes a school-wide character education program called Kids Who Care which fosters caring, integrity, respect, responsibility and self-discipline allowing their students to develop into productive, contributing citizens.

Elizabeth is responsible for educating students in the third grade. She also provides tutoring in the Chinese community with children who speak both English and Chinese for Cultural Enrichment in American Studies. During her educational career, Elizabeth earned a Bachelor's degree in English and Elementary Education from Immaculata University in 1970 and a Master's degree in Liberal Arts from SUNY Brockport in 1994. She is a member of the Parent-Teacher Association, National Education Association and the Penfield Teacher's Association. In addition, Elizabeth has been named to the Who's Who in American Education.
