Industry Leader Mary A. Stoneman Added to the Cambridge Who's Who Network

INDIO, CA, September 4, 2009 /Coaching - Mentoring PR News/ -- Mary A. Stoneman, Teacher for Coachella Valley Unified School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of education.
Ms. Stoneman has 21 years of professional experience and 10 years in her current position. At Coachella Valley Unified School District, she is responsible for teaching second and third-grade students in a combined class and following the curriculum set by the state. She developed and has compiled the school newspaper for the past five years. Ms. Stoneman previously worked for the Oakland Athletics in their minor league system. In addition, she is a professional singer and guitarist and has sung professionally and at weddings. Ms. Stoneman also works as a private tutor educating seventh and eight grade students in the areas of Language Arts and Social Studies.
In 1982, Ms. Stoneman received her Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Administration from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona. She received the Teacher of The Year Award in 2007 from Westside School and the Teacher of The Year Award in 2000 from the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Ms. Stoneman also received the Green Angel Award for her volunteer work in 1980 from the Girl Scouts of the United States of America.
