Christopher G. Donoghue Teaches Math at the Largest Community College in the SUNY System
SELDEN, NY, September 30, 2009 /Coaching - Mentoring PR News/ -- Christopher G. Donoghue, Mathematics Instructor for Suffolk County Community College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.
With 35 years of experience as an educator, Mr. Donoghue specializes in communication and mathematics. A math teacher at SCCC since 2006, he is tasked primarily with conducting classes in Algebra I and II. He also works as a math tutor at the Mathematics Center, Islip Tutoring Service, and Totley's Learning Center. Mr. Donoghue is especially proud to be associated with SCCC, the largest community college in the University of New York system. He attributes his success to loving his job and knowing who he is.
Mr. Donoghue received his Master of Education from Georgian Court College. He has been honored with inclusion in Who's Who Among American Teachers. Away from work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, who works as a reading specialist in Long Island. In five years, Mr. Donoghue hopes to increase his involvement in teacher education.
Suffolk County Community College currently has 22,000 students at its three campuses in Selden, Brentwood and Riverhead.
