William Cassidy, Ed.S, MA Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who

Lindale, GA, July 23, 2009 /Coaching - Mentoring PR News/ -- William Cassidy, mathematics teacher at Pepperell Middle School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of education.
As a mathematics teacher at Pepperell Middle School, Mr. Cassidy is responsible for teaching middle school mathematics and working with children to build their self-esteem. Prior to joining the faculty at Pepperell Middle School, he taught for the state of Alabama for 25 years and also spent two years as a middle school math teacher for Chatooga County Schools in Georgia. While teaching in Alabama, Mr. Cassidy served in the Alabama National Guard and Army Reserves, retiring with the rank of Major.
Mr. Cassidy, who has taught more that 5,000 children over the years, was inspired to become a teacher by his father who worked in the education field. William attributes his success to his ability to break down complex concepts to be understood by children.
Mr. Cassidy received his Education Specialist Degree in School Administration from the University of Alabama in 1997, his Associate of Science in Computer Science from Rogers State University in 1997, his Master of Arts in School Administration in 1978, and his Bachelors of Science, with a Science Major and Math Minor, in 1977. He is a member of Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education, Georgia Association of Educators, Alabama Retired Educators Association, and the National Education Association. He intends to continue teaching mathematics and improving the lives of the children he teaches.
