Beverly J. Patitz Honored for Accomplishments in Counseling Services
Beverly J. Patitz inducted into Cambridge Who's Who for practiced field expertise
HASTINGS, NE, June 10, 2009 /Coaching - Mentoring PR News/ -- Beverly J. Patitz, Proprietor and Director of New Dimensions Counseling LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of counseling services.
With six years of experience in her field, Ms. Patitz specializes in trauma and addiction counseling. As proprietor and director of New Dimensions Counseling LLC, she is responsible for running and overseeing the counseling center, which is a private practice that she owns and supervises. Ms. Patitz has a private practice where she has 30 active clients and serves on the voluntary part of the treatment team for the local drug court. She also does speaking on trauma and conducts an eight-hour workshop on trauma and addiction. Previously, she worked at a local domestic violence shelter for 12 years before going into private practice. She attributes her success to God.
Ms. Patitz is pursuing her Ph.D. in Mental Health Counseling at Capella University, from which she received her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2003 and her Master's Degree in Clinical Practice in 2003. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Human Services Administration from Bellevue University in 2000. She is a lifetime member of Phi Theta Kappa and a former member of the American Counseling Association. In 2005, she was honored with the Womens Warrior Award from the Spouse Abuse Center. Ms. Patitz hopes to travel coast to coast speaking about trauma and would like to open a one-stop treatment center for trauma and addiction for children and parents.
