Harolynn McIntosh, Ed.D., Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

CHICAGO, IL, April 9, 2009 /Coaching - Mentoring PR News/ -- Harolynn McIntosh, Ed.D., Assistant Professor for Trinity International University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of higher education.
Dr. McIntosh has over 34 years of professional experience in language arts instruction and teaching social studies to student teachers, 12 juniors and three seniors. For a year and a half, she taught at Simpson's School for Young Ladies, a school for pregnant girls. She started her career teaching boys from troubled backgrounds. She is certified to teach 18 subjects and has taught business, economics, sociology, social science, history and reading. Dr. McIntosh taught at EBG Thorpe in the mornings and during her lunch hour drove to WEB DuBois to teach kindergarten. She also taught typing and high school business courses and was a Social Science Coach for Areas 22 and 24 in the Chicago Public Schools. Currently, she is writing a biography of Rev. Mother Consuella B. York. She attributes her success to her parents and education. In 1992, she received her Doctor of Education from Northern Illinois University. Dr. McIntosh is a member of the National Council for the Social Studies and the National Notary Association.
