Family and youth services therapist dedicated to reducing teen violence
PASADENA, CA, February 13, 2009 /Coaching - Mentoring PR News/ -- Joachim Hagopian, Marriage and Family Therapist at D'Veal Family and Youth Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of Counseling and Community Service.
With an impressive background that spans 23 years of professional experience, two of which have been in his current position, Mr. Hagopian's expertise lies in counseling individuals, couples and groups. At his post, he is responsible for providing guidance to families and adolescents. He notes that one of his main focuses in the community is to reduce teen violence and gang activities; he is very proud of his active involvement in the reduction of such occurrences.
Mr. Hagopian became involved in his profession because of his ability to understand and help people make positive changes in their lives. Determination, perseverance, a dedication to his community, and his desire to help people are what he considers to be the driving forces behind his success. He received his Master of Science in Psychology from California State University and his Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from the United States Military Academy.
